Farewell...
Ever since April of this year I've been neglecting this blog. From this blog's birth to March of this year I've enjoyed the fierce discussion. I've been right and wrong on the issues and I learned from my mistakes. I criticized the President when he was wrong and stood by him when he was right. I've learned more about the Constitution through this blogging experience and I hope to use this knowledge to better serve my country.
I want to thank everyone who ever commented (negatively or positively) on this blog. The Federalist Party is all but gone. The Republicans have become more socially conservative and are nationally imposing "morality." The Framers didn't want this. The Libertarian Party doesn't have any structure and doesn't seem to know where it's going. The Constitutional Party (a grassroots Party) is the closest thing to the party James Madison and Alexander Hamilton represented. Federalism will live on. In 2008 we will have a Federalist elected as President.
I will come back every now and then with other blogs about local elections.
"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite" (James Madison).
