Wrong again...

"The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that President Bush overstepped his authority in ordering military war crimes trials for Guantanamo Bay detainees, saying in a strong rebuke that the trials were illegal under U.S. and international law" (ABC).
The Graham-Levin amendment, which was passed (84-14) in November 2005, cut off detainees’ potential access to the federal courts. However, the case that was brought before the Supreme Court involving Salim Ahmed Hamdan was pending in the system before the Graham-Levin amendment.
----
Did the Supreme Court get it right? No. The detainees at Guantanamo have been afforded rights they should not have. Why were they afforded these rights? Because of the “Geneva Conventions.”
Two things I have to say about the “Geneva Conventions”:
1) Alqaeda doesn’t afford us these rights.
2) If you’re going to cite the Geneva Conventions at least get it right! What part of the Geneva Conventions, in particular Convention III, Article 4 do these idiots not understand? Alqaeda does not and did not follow the criteria:
a) They did not have a fixed distinctive sign recognizable at a distance (or uniform).
b) They did not conduct their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war.
I sure hope Congress fixes this mess.
